I took my car in anticipating that the work needing to be done will be covered under my compass insurance/protection plan. Upon drop off, I was agreed with that the issue my car seemed to be having would be covered under the plan. I got a call later that afternoon that they found the issues but weren't able to actually do any of the work because I had to take my car back to the dealership that I got it from in order to have the insurance/extended warranty honored. Something about since where I got it was within 20 miles, compass requires people to take it back there? I was still charged $120 for the diagnostic of those issues which is extremely upsetting because had I known my coverage wouldn't be accepted there, I would not have taken it there in the first place. I would like to inquire about getting that refunded. I call zimbrick in Sun prairie, where I got my car, from the parking lot of Bergstrom and relay all of this information. They were very confused as to why I was told any of the above concerning compass and my plan. They had not heard of that issue before. I was able to get my car over to zimbrick in Sun prairie and provided all of the information again to whomever checked me in, and was told again that Bergstrom not accepting the plan was abnormal and weird and "they probably just didn't want to call and deal with compass." Extremely upsetting experience and I am unsure if I will go back to the Bergstrom location, even though it is under very close to me. I don't get why there are options of where to take your car in for service via account (AND word of mouth. When I got my vehicle, I double-checked that I could take it to a location closer to me because Sun prairie is half an hour away) but then you are denied that service and repair but still charged money.

Service was fast, friendly and professional. They even ran my SUV through the car wash. The cookies were good also.
